First sampling of my English IPA that I'm entering into the LAB Open.
Genuinely quite chuffed with this; Chevallier malt with EKG and First Gold hops, which gives it a nice marmalade vibe without it being really in your face. Head retention is probably the best I've had as well, which I'd guess is down to the addition of some torrified wheat.
Why spoil a winning approachEnjoyed the first one enough to warrant a second
Ha ha ha!View attachment 67477Next up Czeched out my first Czech lager. Also needs more conditioning time! Tastes pretty good albeit a little flat and no head

Is it a dessert in a glass? Not really got into sours, my son loves them but my palette is not sophisticated enough. Yet!
Great name. Is it sweet and sour? Does it have kiwis in it. Pavlova needs .
Looks far better than my attempt, mine is a really good flavour though. Looking forward to trying the corny after lagering is complete and will definitely brew again.
In my best Leslie Nielsen voice.
That looks good. Is that the citra simcoe one ?My usual AIPA recipe mashed at higher temperature and used mj m66 hophead yeast to reduce the abv. 5.1%
