End of a brew day and tidy-up time, so time to QC its predecessor.
It's actually prettier than the photo makes it look.
A gorgeous bright straw colour.
My first proper Pilsner brew from 11th March. 5.3% and so tastily rich even using all German Pilsner malt with the the Saaz hops obvious.
Using the 'accelerated method' found on here. Mangrove Jacks Bohemian M84 yeast.
As it's in cask (only 4 days), no condition apart from small bubbles on the glass, but the flavour!
If only pub/bar pilsner/lagers tasted like this I wouldn't need to homebrew.
🤔
Hold on, that's the reason why we do this, isn't it? 🍻

That's a bonus.
I found a beer recipe my wife likes and could drink in lieu of wine. It's a Belgian Tripel. She likes it because the hops aren't too prominent.
Its awesome when they get into it.. we’re exploring bitters and ales at the moment and she’s really loving understanding all the different flavours…. Well she didn’t bat an eye when I bought my new brew kit!
