Found a great little pub in denver with about 8 cask ales. This is the downtown Julie brown ale, everyone has been fantastic although a bit heavier than typical cask. Now I need to pester the brewer for recipes.

Yeah good to be back, life's been a little busy lately so I have done very little brewing and drinking actually. My beer refrigerator is still full from brew earlier this year. I am hoping to brew a brown ale soon, and am trying to decide between a traditional one or Janet's brown. I have some catching up to do on the brewdays forum.

Here is a cask pale ale, it's great too.

It's certainly changed many attitudes to working yourself to death, it's one of the reasons we are away for a few days in the camper, work can wait!
Not really a wine drinker, but after being up most of the night with our sick doggie, felt like a glass or two with a book I have been meaning to read.

I’m starting again with an English Bitter tonight.

I got a commercial selection for the Coop, just for a change and to "check out the competition" as it were

I finished early today as ran out of things to do, so started on the beer early, ahhh well, it's Thursday

First tasting of my El Dorado and Galaxy pale ale, other than the fact its lacking a bit of head it's quite nice, smooth bitterness, medium to low bodied, fruity flavour and light citrus aroma.

Nice! I haven't brewed any bitter yet, I probably should, it's one of the pints I find goes down a treat after a busy day! I have just been too caught up in the hoppy IPA and super stouts to pay much attention yet.
