The Baltic Porter had more flavour and interest in my view. The Schwartzbier was a bit weak and watery by comparison.

This is the strangest beer I have every brewed. This was meant to be an English raw pale ale. EKG and first gold hops.
What I got is a Belgian wheat beer. Unbelievable. I blame my 3rd pitch of the verdant IPA yeast.

strangely it turned out to be thirsty work. nice and light this one.

It's a dry golden ale along lines of Summer Lightening ( flattering the festival kit a little here ! )

but hopped with Cascade/Crystal rather than Fuggles and elderflower addition for citrusy, floral aroma.

Always wondered what other beers Hopback did, never heard of any of them! The Taiphoon sounds drinkable.
