I'd be up for a swap. I'm brewing another Munich Helles this weekend and then the first Marzen will be going into the brew fridge at the late January when the Helles comes out. We're in peak lager brewing season, the Helles should be ready early Feb.
I am just thinking on what to brew in the new year. I might do a run of German Beers

I’m again starting with a guest beer tonight, a 4% Kolsch from @Griff097

Despite appearances this beer is quite well carbonated, it was just a bit reluctant to form a head. You can see it’s golden coloured and is very nearly crystal clear. The aroma was mild sweet malt and a touch of apple. The flavour was similarly sweet malt with a light apple fruitiness followed by a mild bitterness fading to honey which lingered for a while. Medium to light body and a clean dry finish.

This was a nice beer and a nice start to my evening. Thanks very much! athumb..

We’ve got the taste for the beer now lol. So we’re both having one of my English pale ales. Getting better as it ages.

I’m now learning that my ales that I thought were crap at the beginning, just need to sit longer to become much better. I’ve also learned that temperature control is a must if you want great, and not good beer.

First a pint from the stout keg...its still holding pressure and the stout is getting better.
Had a busy day...walked the dogs miles and got them plastered in mud. Then off to a local garden centre with a nice butchers to get some meat. Lasagne in progress now, chicken marinated for curry tomorrow as I feel the need for spice! I also picked up some nice shin beef which will be for a madras on NYE.
