Late to the game (it's on series 3) but Pennyworth is looking good at the moment. ITV X.

Just finished watching this and turns out it’s been cancelled, shame, have to say Paloma Faith impressed me.

Best series of 2024 for me was Shogun on Disney Plus

Parallel watching two Japanese series on Netflix - Jin and Galileo. Jin is about a brain surgeon that somehow wakes up back in the Shogun/Emperor time (Edo period). Galileo is about a science professor that helps the police department solve crimes. The latest episode I watched the lead actor from Jin appeared on Galileo as a kind of faith healer. During a discussion between the two the professor asked if he would prefer it if medicine was as it was during the Edo period. Need to check when they were both made to see if it was a knowing bit of banter of if some TV exec said afterwards “yes, let’s make this”.
