Back home and thought I would try a 330 trial bottle of Mangrove Jack's Pils though a bit young at 3 weeks in the bottle. Surprisingly hoppy with only 28 gms.of Saaz but I think it will be a good drop in a few weeks.Must practise patience!

This is my first Brewferm Christmas ale, the 1 tin, 9l yield kit, bottled with no added sugar at bottling, July 2020.
Promise its not Pepsi. Nice hiss on opening. No head what so ever, yet can see carbonation fine bubbles.
Has a dark brown sugar caramel like flavour, a light bitter after taste, notable on the roof of my mouth which feels different.. No obvious hoppy aroma.
Nice enough, warming 7.5% drink

That didn't take long so now celebrating Wolves' goalless draw with Chelsea with a Spitfire which for my money is one of the best easily available bitters though it seems absolutely crucial to serve at the right temperature!

Today’s beer 52. A whiplash ipa but I’d say more of a hazy pale. Soft mouthfeel low bitterness nice enough

Pre work hydration. I need to do a better job reading dates, this one is old and commerical IPAs suck after 3 months. Has that rich malt caramel going and no hops. I might bring it back....
