Wife is having JD & Coke. For me the Proof of Concept, a DDH session IPA at 4.3%. It’s pale and is quite hoppy. I get the grapefruit, lemon and orange, not so much the peach but there’s a hint in the finish perhaps.

No seriously, it wasn't unpleasant but it's really never seen real raspberry - clearly artificially flavoured. I do buy this sort of beer myself but purists wouldn't be impressed by it.
On the positive side, the large sized can is impressive. I must've done something right with my kids to want them to treat me in this way. They're awesome.

2 nd can of this from a box of 24 and again the glass is full of yeasty floaters. Expected better to be honest. Does not detract from the flavour just bad quality control.

Edit:- lots of their beers have concentrated flavours added, parma violets, mallow laser quest, hazy jane guava, elvis juice etc etc.

Coffee and vanilla porter from BBNo tonight. Maybe a little on the sweet side for my liking but still going down nicely!

Next up this Secret City at 6.5%. I’m not so keen on watermelon flavours in beer but fortunately there’s a lot more going on.

Last one of these I had the can was very cold. I let this one warm up a bit and the difference is noticeable. Lots of chocolate aroma and flavour with a nice full creamy taste with the lactose and a decent coffee finish. A very decent beer.
First try wilko thirsty Red Devil, I used the kit and 1kg of dme and 450gr of dark sugar, it is really clear and tastes very good
