My Cali Common with caramalt instead of crystal. This is very yummy! The wife would like me to point out that this photo was taken in my garage not our house !

Genuinely interested,
Disgusting how?
Off flavours from infections from horrible nasties, or just generally unpleasant beer? Had a few of those over the years!
Just off flavours but really bad, i had 2 bottles and the second one went down the sink i have never tasted anything so bad in my 68 years in this world

a black and tan, it's also called? I'm no pro. Are you saying should have a thicker head?

You pour the Guinness in such a way that it sits on top of the Bass so you see a distinct line between where the bass changes to Guinness. Typically using the back of the spoon will help in this endeavor but I failed miserably as you can see the Guinness is showing up in most of the glass mixing with the Bass.

I've heard that using that term can be insensitive which is why I used the term half and half and didn't want to unknowingly offend anybody on this forum.

Drinking my porter again tonight, while very nice I can't wait to get into my my bitter, haven't had one in an age and packaging tomorrow.🤤 While I do still have some English IPA's they tend to make me sway and slur, bringing me to the attention of my wife.

I really do hate having to put "English" in front of IPA. Why couldn't the yanks find their own name for an India Pale Ale?

Cribbage from a brewery in Newquay disgusting
Hi @Rodcx500z ,
Just had a Google around, this is what I found:
1stly, think the name of the beer is CRIBBAR
Brewed by St. Austell.
UNTAPPD have many rave reviews of this beer,
Except commencing from 14th Sept
https://untappd.com/user/jadeirving/checkin/1077304280 and then this from 22nd Oct,
"Judging by the colour of this compared to everyone else's on here, I think I have a bad batch. Either way, it's thin and has a horrible sour taste to it, even though it's well within its BBE."
https://untappd.com/user/jcmwitty/checkin/1090524997So it does seem like a bad batch issue - a QC problem.
That's why we on here do such a lot of QC testing of our beers 😉
Better luck next time.........
But do you dare?

Thats the one for me it was bloody awful, carry on with QC :beer1: :beer1:

So I have my usual dinner-cooking accompaniment. Making lamb filo pie today.

I thought I would QC and carb check my strawberry milkshake. Had to make sure it wasn’t going off before the weekend 😅😂

Although it looks very foamy it’s not carbed up enough for me yet. How annoying. However it’s nice and full bodied, and less bitter than when it was first done. No sign of oxidation (yet?) 😬
