As I threatened to SWMBO'D, I brewed this Monday for her, but volume and ingredients scaled down a little to 20L.Very simple recipe from Graham Wheeler's book
22 litres
5000g Maris Otter
40g Challenger @ 60 minutes
20g EKG @ 15 minutes
20g EKG @ 20 minutes hop stand
Nottingham or CML Midland yeast
The EKGs were all my locally gathered ones.
One addition was this year, the other one last year's.
The fermentation aroma is freshly floral/fruity.
I love a little crystal hint, so 100g substituted in, as was some mixed crushed cereal grains for some head.
I hope it's allowed to modify a GW recipe a little.
