A supposed pale ale from my favourite brewery. Labelled as a pale ale but it’s a pilsner in my mind. Highly carbonated and uses saaz or taitinger hops. Nice beer well made but not really for me. Drinking it though. View attachment 49330

Ha ha ha no been working at it all day and just sitting in it having a few beers as the daughter brought them out to me and they are watching programmes about women trying on wedding dresses (5 women in the house)in the living room so it’s a sort of male refuge. Will need to go in soon as I’m on my last beer.

A very disappointed Hefe Wheat kit that I wanted to spice up with some fruit. I may have overdone it with 1kg of mixed fruit berries, 250g raspberries and 10ml of raspberry extract from the MM. The main issue is the artificial aftertaste.

Will it mellow out with time? Only been in the keg three days.

A lot of folks call this but it is not that shabby it is malty even on the nose it’s not a bad ale and at 3.6 you could have a real good session on it

Ventured indoors and found everyone in bed apart from the wife who is watching Paul wellar with the London orchestra and it’s bloody good so having a innis and Gunn Caribbean rum cask aged beer before I open a bottle of yellowtail Chardonnay and kiss the world goodbye.

I’m here - kinda. Just come up to Norfolk for a few days this afternoon so connectivity will probably be a bit hit and miss depending where we are. It turns out we’re staying about 300 yards from Crisp Maltings. It looks a pretty huge site. I wonder if they do tours

I think that he became disillusioned with one or two things on here and ventured off to pastures new. A real shame, hope he comes back one day.
