Cradle of Filth - Pale Countess. Some sort of tie in with a metal band, I believe. The beer is much more MOR than I suspect the music is: 4.5% Pale with Citra and Mosaic. Pretty good in the garden with a barbecued sausage.

Cheers mate..... Glad you liked it.... Still experimenting so hopefully I'll nail a decent recipe soon 🍻

Good day out today, a few hours on Pendle hill. Back in the garden this afternoon painting the garage. So had a couple of these Burton Bridge Golden Delicious which has now cleared:

And as it's only 3.7%, something slightly more satisfying was in order, so a couple of these too:

It's defo a decent recipe. I really enjoyed it - just think a touch less grapefruit would meld better with the hops, but I guess you can't control the grapefruit intensity??

Drinking the last of a Styrian Golden Ale bottled 3rd April 2020.
Somehow, about a third of this one got "lost" at the "bottom of the beer mountain" in the garage for ages.
It was in a 2L brown PET cider bottle, but seems good to my tastes. The Liberty Belle yeast ester profile is still quite prominent, so I know it is definitely this brew.

Just trying @Donegal john Belgian golden ale 7.2 %
Slight hiss when I opened it so I gave it a nice rough pour. Lovely white pillow head. Excellent clarity, this is probably well aged. Nice golden colour
Aroma is light. Typically Belgian yeast, light spice
Flavour is nice, well balanced. What makes this beer is the mouth feel. Really soft, with a nice after taste bitterness then finishes dry.
Really enjoying this one. Fitting that I am bottling my own Belgian ale.
Cheers 🍺🍺
I will keep you a bottle of my attempt 👍

That one has been in the bottle for near a year now. I enjoyed that one myself. Glad you liked it.

@matt76 podium ipa

Aroma, lemony, citrus and pine of resin/pine.

Appearance, little hazy nice head which lasts the whole glass, once lacing

Flavour, nicely balanced bitterness, nice citrus hop flavours as per aroma. Being picky, just a touch thin?

Mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, dry, well carbonated.

Lovely beer, really enjoyed it, reminds me a little of a Skinners lushingtons pale ale. Top drawer!

Just had a BIPA from @samale . This is a tasty BIPA. Just the right level of carbonation and the head has stuck around for the whole pint. It had a nice piny hop aroma from the Simcoe. Really easy drinking, subtle roast character but really only slightly noticeable. I get the Simcoe but not the Citra as much, but it's a really balanced level of hoppiness. Smooth , no harshness and easy drinking beer at 6%. Really enjoyed it. Cheers mate🍺
