I tend to make a point of doing any chopping (or anything with knifes) prior to drinking I have had one two many cuts to do it any other way.
All the chopping and peeling done... looking forward to a relaxing hour or so keeping a careful eye on it with a beer or two 😉

William Bros Peach IPA from ALDI not bad and certainly thirst quenching

Young’s Barley Wine (8%)

This is one of those rare kits that I will be brewing again in the future I did replace the sugar by mashing a couple of kilos of Maris Otter and the yeast with some Wyeast West Yorkshire slurry from a batch of Yorkshire bitter, but it has a rather nice flavour though I still have about 10L left so won‘t be be brewing anytime soon.

Something completely unfamiliar for me. This is one of the beers I was bought for Christmas. You can smell smoke from about a metre away from the glass!

I’ve had a few smoked beers and I am never sure if I love them or despise them I just find them all together odd. Though one more reason I will be glad to be able to get back into pubs where a third of a smoked beer is an option.

@dan125 Glad to hear dinner was made without a trip to A&E and shepherds pie looks great.

As for me I have just emptied and cleaned my keg of Mild,so having another Barley Wine.

I always liked the option of a pint of thirds! I'm enjoying the smoked beer. It appeals to the ex smoker in me in the same way that lapsong tea does!

Cleared out of work early. Did 30 mile on the bike. Back home now and enjoying @dave_77 Belgian pale.
Lovely well balanced beer. Golden orange, nice carbonation. Light spice from the Belgian yeast. Hops are mild but play well.
Spot on for me. Thank you for sharing

Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed. Shame the lager didn't survive the journey.
