Try love and hate from vocation after a Jamesdown then you'll understand

Love and hate is really good as expected, didn't realise it was classed as a neipa. They taste quite similar from memory of the Jamestown but haven't had them back to back.

DB gets a bit of a knocking in the forum but recently on a family night out (before C-19) it was the best beer the pub had and i had quite a few.

Depending on the pub it can be a great beer on draught. One of my favourites actually. I should probably try brewing an English bitter one of these days.

My Youngs Scottish Heavy is definitely improving (it finally finished after a month at 1.015 thanks to my tweaks - exrtra DME and EKG dry hop ) but a month on it has lost the initial sweetness and is tasting much maltier and bitter.
