Amwell Springs Rude Not Too (4%)

Purchased a 5L poly pin of this for deliver, I think I have it a tad too cold, as it’s normally sold as a cask ale in pubs, and it has cask like levels of carbonatio.

That said with the warm weather it is still rather good if a little flat(which again I think has more to do with my low serving temperature as a similar, carbonation level at 10 degrees would be perfect. Leaves me tempted to buy a beer fridge I can keep permanently at 10C.

That looks sooooo good 😋

As much as I might complain about working when the sun is out, I’m still glad to have a degree of certainty unfortunately since we use video conferencing at work I don’t think having a pint on the job would be the best idea (and while are senior managment in Germany have no issues with drinking at lunchtime are local general manager is a teetotaller).

Clint do you mean my Tribute recipe or where to buy nutty slack? The former is
20 litres
4200g MO
200g Munich light
200g Carapils
100g Torrefied wheat
60 minutes mash 66C
35g Challenger at 60 minutes
25g Willamette 15 minutes
1 Protofloc tablet 15 minutes
Yeast Safale S-04
OG 1047
FG 1010
ABV 4.8%

You know you can get the St Austell yeast out of bottles of Proper Job to make it even more like the original

giving the hoppy marzen another try. aroma is a bowl of strawberries and wet paint.... hmmm not sure about this one. hopefully it will age out a bit.

Starting with a pint of the hazy IPA. Seriously, I need to see an end to this stuff, it’s just tormenting me.
so what tips for getting this kind of clarity? do everything everyone told you not to do?

is there wheat and oats in this?
