I want a Butter the cat! Reminds me of our Billy, who's now chasing butterflies (and anything not twice as big as him somewhere).View attachment 37049
Late to the party...as usual!
Just arrived! Butter the cat takes a bow in respect.
Great colour on that!Speaking of beers that won't see Christmas. My hazy IPA

Interesting one from the calendar
Not sure this is even a beer. Counts as a night off I thinkThe 4% and low calorie claim on the can had me thinking this would be crap.
Sounds like the one I just made. I was wondering why I like that one so much.No I don't have a recipe but a quick Google suggests it's a blend of Mosaic and Citra. Vocation's site says there's 3kg of hops per barrel, which is about 380g in a 20L batch
Where did you get that one?
What's it like? I bought the Nelson and Galaxy ones in my last order from them (both very good) together with the Imperial Kirsch and Imperial Black Forest Cherry stouts which I'm trying to save until Christmas
The not so local independent bottle shopWhere did you get that one?
It's very good . Lots of fruit and pine... just what you'd expect from simcoe. What's it like? I bought the Nelson and Galaxy ones in my last order from them (both very good) together with the Imperial Kirsch and Imperial Black Forest Gateau stouts which I'm trying to save until Christmas
They seem to release barrel-aged stouts and single hop beers in pairs. They did a banana stout and a ginger one a couple of months ago. Six months ago I ordered the barrel-aged Belgian quad with raspberries which was delicious.I am putting an order in with vocation. Free delivery over 35 pounds. @Pennine did you see the barrel aged imperial stout with cherrys
