A rummage in the shed unearthed a few bottles of my kviek #2 brewed in June..with Amarillo..it's settled nicely,great colour and carb..smooth bitterness but as expected the hops have faded a little but not in a bad way..it's now got more juiciness on the finish and seems more rounded...

Not used either of those hops, I know I could look at hops list, but which of those gives you the orange flavour?

I think it would be Admiral but also try First Gold gives orangey taste IMO

It's the Admiral that has a spicy/marmalade flavour. The sage and spice character from Target is going well with it I think.

Since siren have now had 5 attempts to give me something to use my Nitro glass with and not delivered... I'll have to use this Brewdog vs Eviltwin instead. Love this, have never thought I could have too much, not sure it's the best choice for the strictly drinking game though! Best have some beer snacks to help me through!

I am making this again wilko velvet stout with 1kg of dark dme 500g of dark moscavado sugar and coffee if you like Gervin yeast it’s bloody fantastic

Struggle to think of something I prefer tbh. It's gone down too quick, since, my wife keeps telling me to drink (she's not drinking and I'm not clear on the rules). Doesn't happen usually, so why am I going to argue? Will switch for the second half of the show though!

Lidl have these back in. Had them a few years ago and drank all 6 the night before going to Portugal with the wife for a few days. Unpacking when I arrived at the hotel was a bit of a surprise as I had no memory of packing

I may have gone a little overboard, but it was my first visit since before Lockdown V1.

My mate left some beers on the doorstep this evening. Roaster coaster was one of them. Think I will give that a go after a very disappointing Don Pera
