Old Peculiar Clone (GW recipe)

This has now had 83 days in the bottle and is lovely, glad I have a big enough stockpile now that I can properly age beer.

I do like an old peculiar, one of my earliest favourite beers and would love to build a stockpile and be able to resist drinking things too young!

Looks superb, and you've convinced me to try another light, hop heavy beer later, rather than turning straight back to the dark side.

I have loads of dark beer as well. I like to keep a good selection

Just another quality check of my pilsner. I absolutely love this WLP833 yeast, it just enhances the maltiness so much, even in an all pils malt beer like this one.

Just S-04 it’s not the closest match to the actual beer but it’s still pretty nice.

So inspired by samale, I've gone with this 7 hopped double ipa. I'm prefering the more rounded flavor of this than the ghost ship, which seemed to be all citrus.

I off-gassed this to drop the sulfur aroma and it's much better now. Although the hops are becoming a bit more green now and less fruity.

Love a Belgian IPA, and I agree about Ghost Ship. A very overrated beer in my opinion.

First proper look at my Can't Fly Won't Fly Kiwi Pale. It would have been better in the heatwave back in the summer but its pretty good now. Happy enough to have another 18 bottles or so to get through.

I think Im prefering this to the hazy ipa from the same brewery that I tried last Friday. Not at all disappointed to have a few of each left to try at a later date though
