Also I didn't realise Lidl did pretzels! I might have to do my shopping there more often.

Started early.
On my 2nd pint of home brew lager.
Watching the rugby.
There's definitely alcohol in the lager 😁

Festival Winter Spice Ale (6.3%)

This is actually rather nice although it’s going to take me a while to get through as it’s very much a case of a third is nice but not one I could drink pints of in one sitting (it’s taste is somewhat like mulled wine).

Im also coming to,the realisation that I need to brew more session beer, as currently have nothing below 5.2%.

Just cracked a pb fuggles challenger bitter/pale ale i know its boring to some but i love my english beers

I doubt I’m alone in saying that if done right a “basic bitter” can be an exceptional beer”. With it looking likely that we are heading into another lockdown it’s not hoppy IPAs or NEIPA I will miss (these are arguably as good from a can as on draft” but best bitter, mild, golden ales etc. on cask that I will miss,

Firstly...I should be nights tonight and tomorrow but I've booked them off!!
Huzzah!
Beer o'clock! To start...nearly a pint of todays bottling dregs of the azzaca pale ale....I could have put this in a pb,gassed it and cracked on!
It's totally drinkable! A bit hazy, light orange glow, super juicy fruit from the azzaca and cascade late and dry additions...great tropical aroma with soft mouth feel and smooth bitterness.
