“Manfred” from Time & Tide Brewing. There’s a full parts list for this one: Maris Otter, Pilsner, Flaked barley,Oats, Citra, Equanot, Mosaic, Simcoe, New England yeast. 5%.

Immediately on cracking the can the aroma was amazing. My wife buys a pineapple and mango fruit cordial and this smells just like it - wow! The flavour is really nice but doesn’t quite match the aroma (how could it?). Quite assertive pithy bitterness but not excessive. This is a “juicy” beer and I like it a lot. Maybe give it a try if you’re looking for new inspiration.

Looks flat...

Maybe the last for tonight, a “zesty & refreshing triple hopped IPA” with Goldings, Chinook, and Cascade. 4.4% from Curious Brewing.

I used to love Curious IPA but they’ve slowly dropped the % (used to be 6.5% I think).

Still a good beer, but it’s just not quite the same / tasty as it used to be.

I popped into Lidl earlier and spotted Slovakian Zlaty Bozant which I have only ever drank in Bratislava. Not a bad beer. Unfortunately i only bought 2 which are now long gone🍺

Enjoying a couple of pints of my Dead Phoney Club. Was burst carbonated and left in the shed for a week or so and brought out to the tap yesterday. The PSI had dropped a bit whilst off the gas so was put on again 24 hours ago. Could do with another few days to reach ideal carbonation but tastes good enough for me.

I must admit I had that last night and poured the last 80ml or so away. I like coffee stout, I like vanilla stout, I like milk stout, I like chocolate stout, but chocolate vanilla coffee milk stout was too much for me. Couldn't even manage my dinner afterwards. Maybe on another day I would enjoy it more. The nitro thing was interesting. I hadn't realised until I opened it. Definitely one to drink chilled.
And to drink after your dinner once your tum is settled. Treat it like a dessert for sure.

I’m sampling my kegged beers as I often do at the weekend. On the eighth and starting to feel it a little now. Just three more after this 🥴

Edit: Last one now - number 11. This is my English Pale Ale at 4.2%. None bad, most good, Punky (which I’ve still not tipped away) is really the only one I’m not sure about but I’ll keep it until I need the keg - you never know🤷‍♂️

Here’s a pic of the Pale Ale.
