Next one of my hop blending beers. I brewed several bottles of each of a number of single-hop beers to try some blending experiments. I had one more bottle of the Citra ale than the others so I’m drinking it.

Fairly well carbonated, pale colour, slightly hazy appearance. Aroma is a Citra explosion and some bready malt. Flavour is just what you’d expect from a highly hopped Citra ale plus that bready malt, and just a touch yeasty. It needs a little longer to condition, maybe two-weeks - when is that American Ale competition?

Another hoppy NEIPA thing tonight. Keep Left DIPA from Verdant Brewery. Less sweet and more hoppy than the Polly's DIPA I had the other day, I definitely prefer this balance.

Still half a fridge full of hoppy beasts to get through. I'll try and make a dent this weekend for Notkoberfest.

Found this one at a bottle shop it's been awhile but I adore this beer. Might be my favorite stout of all time and at 5%. Anyone know of a good clone recipe?

@Clint drinking a proper job right now I think those numbers were good if they use the same waterfor both. It tastes much smoother than I remember might even lean into the cacl more and get it closer to 1:1 ratio.

Sneaky early taster of a Master Pint bitter I barreled last sunday, bumped up the starting gravity with golden syrup and dry hopped with EKG - the first brew I've done in my brew fridge.
