A pint of my milk chocolate stout. I brewed this for my parents anniversary party last weekend and I brought the keg home 2/3 full at the end of the night 😐

Apparently it didn't go down as well as I expected, and to add insult to injury I saw several people drinking cans of Harp. Bloody Harp!

Well all the more for me then and it's actually pretty darn good even if I do say so myself. Buncha barstewards.

They don't know what they're missing!

I've got a chocolate milk stout planned for next Sunday. Good thing too as I've only got 1 bottle of my last one left.

Some people like the fizzy tasteless stuff or just stick to what they know - you can’t help them. One of my sons in law won’t drink anything other than Peroni🤢

I'm honestly at the point now where I really don't like giving my beers to non-brewers, not out of greed but because unless it tastes like fizzy water the majority don't like it anyway and you end up feeling like a right nob.

The worst though is when people don't give any feedback at all. I've had people who when they find out I brew they ask for a beer, then you give them one and they never mention it. Those people never get another, that's for sure. I'd rather they told me they hated it than say nothing.

I can’t help but keep trying, you’ll probably have figured out I’m an eternal optimist! 🥳

(Either that or permanently ******!)

As I am a little dissatisfied with my current homebrew stock, dug this one out for the fridge to make room for the saisons
Pretty good actually tastes like a mild tripel. It's from rodenbach so it can't be too bad.

I feel your pain brother, having decided to ditch 80 heat-damaged pints I’m down on IPAs just now which is why I’m mostly drinking bitter and a Saison that really isn’t ready yet. The bitter is great but when you want an IPA...

Sampled the summer breeze and the citra mosaic session pale. Both are absolutely delicious in the fermenter. Might bottle summer up tomorrow.

Session beers apparently don't have to suck.

Yeah exactly, my DIPA is tasty but half a glass and I am passed out on the couch.

I have a IPA that's almost ready pm me your address and I'll send you a bottle. It's this one pennine's brewdays

It may suck but very unlikely with will those cheater hops.

Not just me then...we know when we've made a beer that's a bit meh...but when you offer your finest...keep it for yourself Steve, you know it makes sense.

Oh wait I forgot about this humble little centennial IPA I found hiding in the back. Nothing like an old school midwestern IPA.
