I think it’s like Sierra Nevada in that way. Other beers may pack more punch, use funkier ingredients or whatever, but they stand on the shoulders of giants. There’s a reason why WLP565 and Wyeast 3724 are called DuPont strains after allNot for me, it’s A Saidon. Nice, not special. Sorry.
Never had strata hops. Is it niceJust arrived in Bristol for the week. First beer very nice pale ale with strata hops at left handed giant brew pubView attachment 32085
Absolutely, we unfortunately live in an age where bigger and bolder equals better.but they stand on the shoulders of giants
This is something I have been thinking alot about. Everyone is chasing a new style or to try and make something that's original or different. Sometimes basic is best.Absolutely, we unfortunately live in an age where bigger and bolder equals better.

I’m losing track, I make so many beers. The pale ale I’m referring to is in post #135 of my brew day thread.
Aren’t all IPAs 6.8%?
Very tasty, I think this was the second beer I have had with this hop.. definitely would try it when it comes available on homebrew level.Never had strata hops. Is it nice
I thought you didn’t like Galaxy!
I tend to use Citra only in the dry hop for this beer, I find it gives a better balance. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed either way, I’ve tried 50/50 and it was still nice.
