It reminds me of snakebite & black from many years agoYou could also sweeten it with Apple cordial and make it really fruity at the same time.

I enjoyed yours, I'm enjoying this one too. Only 2nd time I have brewed one but I think I will have another go at some point..might need a little more hops next timeI like a hoppy brown ale. Sounds bizarre but actually is nice. Others that have tried mine have surprised themselves by liking it too.
im not sure it just tastes like a banana to me and not in a bad way. in fact I'm enjoying one right now. definitely best cold though. Is it meant to be bananary? It was so cold and short lived I didn't really taste much to be honest
Have moved swiftly on to this (having made some keg cleaning progress)

Next up for me is this. Very nice and certainly tropical, but cheating a little because it has "tropical fruit concentrate" in the ingredients.
A wild beer? Sounds interesting, what is that, like a gruit?Back home after holidays
Soooo hot so started with a wild beer, then onto a mint tea. An evening of variety I think
No grain or hops. Used honey as sugar source, Jarrow, alehoof and Dandilion for bittering and flavour. Threw in a handful of bullace as a yeast source. It is very refreshing, light, tangy almost citrus in flavour - great for summer and unlike some of my experiments something I would make again.A wild beer? You are a beer monsterTrying out my Hull Melon lager-like today. Not bad at all. A bit of a cross of ale and lager flavours and very drinkable. View attachment 30230
Oooops! It slipped down my throat hole before I could picture it.

Just trying it myself. Jury is out. Not a great beer at all but I am not picking up sour. Very little roast and way too thin. Coconut is very slight
