So the new Galaxy/Citra ale isn’t quite ready yet - drinkable but not the nice ale I know it will become. I’ve moved onto my Mosaic/Simcoe ale now which is quite strong at 6.9%. I think I might be down to the last half-dozen pints of this too but will be kegging another batch tonight (or maybe in the morning 🤫)

Fancy a dark beer session tonight, kicking off with my very young (4 weeks in bottle) belgian stout, at this stage it's nice, needs a few more weeks though. Very much different to the fisherman's stout I made with much the same malt earlier in the year.

After a couple of HB Belgian Blondes (naughty) its time for a pint of my English IPA. There's a heck of a lot of crystal malt in it, but it definitely works. The bitterness and carbonation stop it from being too heavy, its got a lovely complex toffee, caramel, dried fruit quality and some zingy Fuggles/EKG spice to it, its pretty popular here by all accounts. Cheers all! 🍻

Brass Castle Disruptor (7.4%) New England Pale Ale

I decided to make burgers today, which has gone down very well with this, (even if burger and two thirds of a pint roughly doesn’t sound as good as burger and a pint).

The beer is a fairly standard NEIPA low levels of bitterness but lots of juicy flavour from the hops.

I'm having a couple of friends over, first time I've seen them since before the lockdown so many beers to be drank (drunk?). One of them isn't a big drinker though so I'll have to make it up myself. Getting an early start with this Munich not-very-pale ale.

I've had a bone crushing three days arsing about with my stairs... I'm sick of it.
Gonna leave it til next block...sourced some vicious sander sheets to rip it up so in the meantime I've decided to try my turbo cider...

Finished off my first ever brew which was a northern brewer partial extract Blonde. It's had a good 2 weeks carbonating plus 2 weeks conditioning now, hasn't developed all that much since it was first done but I do like it a lot, amazing what can be done with a bag of DME and a tasty yeast. I've "moved on" to all grain now (convenient for me for small batches), but this is lovely stuff, I think it's mostly in the yeast

Going to have to admit when I first read that thought you meant use your turbo cider as paint stripper.
