After a busy day bottling 6L of amber with a dodgy beergun, and kegging this neipa, which finished at 1.012 for 7.0% abv
:groupdancing:
I'm having a well deserved Life & Death.

Sounds great have you a picture of the finished beer.
Here it is. No sunshine to hold the glass up to, though, so the redness doesn't come through. Also a glass of the Duvel clone:

A drop of the Red Baron to start with followed by a legfull of the-year-before-last's scrumpy cider made from windfalls and all sorts of dodgy apples as the garden harvest wasn't great. The cider is, though.
I put some proper apple trees in three years ago and they're about to give their first apples: 2 Yarlington Mill. 2 Dabinet and a Stokes Red. Won't be more than a taster this year but I'm looking forward to future summers. In the meantime, the old dessert apple trees are heaving.

These little Tesco stubbies, smelled quite hoppy and promising on opening but on drinking it's a bit like fizzy water. These used to be alright too so that's a shame.

Wonder if my hand capper would be able to cap these bottles, they could make for something a bit different
