Maybe @Mrhandsome lives on the other side of the world and it's really 12 past pissed, I dunno as a side note it's a good job some of us are not piss heads or the country would be in lockdown or somethingToday, 4.15, and that'll do for today? Chippy, why isn't the report button working?
Don't worry Clint I've got em peeledYeah...piss heads...you gotta watch out for those...
I much prefer their triple over their dubbelChores done, time to relax.
A Westmalle Tripel today to Christen my new glass. Accompanied with some Gouda, takes me back to Amsterdam where I first tried Tripel (then dubbel, quad etc...). View attachment 29236
What's the recipe if you don't mind me askingJust had a glass of Red Baron. @the baron shared his recipe for rye beer round about the beginning of the year. I made it there and then and by May, it had still not carbonated. My fault, not the Baron's. Well, it's carbonated now and it's a lovely drop. Thanks for the recipe.
Anybody seen the Baron? Haven't seen a post of his for ages?
Not at all, @the baron published it publicly so I can't see that he'd object. I'll post it in the morning as I've got a bit of a stagger on since it's The Wise One's birthday. What's the recipe if you don't mind me asking
Here it is. I had posted it under Brew Days:What's the recipe if you don't mind me asking
Sounds great have you a picture of the finished beer. Here it is. I had posted it under Brew Days:
https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/an-ankoù-brewday.84797/post-863375You don't have to use Aramis, of course, in fact I think it would have been better to go with Tettnang or one of the other "noble" hops for late additions. Aramis is very much like a traditional English aroma hop. If I had to, I could substitute it for Goldings in a recipe.
Next time I pour one, I'll make a point of taking a photo and posting a flavour swatch.Sounds great have you a picture of the finished beer.
