I‘m out in the garden with Titanic Plum Porter, Cappuccino Stout, and Chocolate Vanila Stour (bought a mixed box alongside the Plum Porter.

The Chocolate Vanilla isn’t bad but vanilla flavour very much overpowers the chocolat.

That all sounds like my cup of tea. I also often find the vanilla is overdone. Maybe we are more sensitive to the vanilla taste

The Cappuccino stout wasn’t bad, a sweet stout with a coffee aftertaste, but the Plum Porter remains my favourite Titanic beer.

Next on my list is this German wheat beer 5.1% Nice flavours, almost what you might expect from a Belgian Ale.

This is quite a nice easy drinking beer. I think the ingredients include orange zest and coriander. I can’t say they’re obvious to me but they are detectable. Nice malty flavour to go with the mildly toffee aroma.

Nowhere near! Just tasting a few beers my daughter had delivered to me. Will be back on my own brews and normal service will be resumed - probably tonight!

Tomorrow...it's CURRY NIGHT! Chicken tikka Rogan Josh is planned as last week the Madras was a bit more than a Madras and it nearly broke my bottom...
Due to epic low stock I have a case of Sol...no laughing please!
On a brighter note my two rush job Festival kits are now dry hopped..the Pilgrims Hope should be ready for bottling next week and the Razorback needs a few more points off it...AND tomorrow is BREW DAY!!! Wheat beer..

Are you using dried chillies @Clint? I always find fresh chillies are hot on the way in but more kind on the way out where dried chilles are hot in and out!

I use fresh and chilli powder..xhot and Kashmiri..I used to eat phal curry..ghost chilli..the lot...I love the heat but it's ruined many a day after...lying there collapsed in a sweaty heap.

Having a couple of my ESB tonight again. Have upped the temperature in the kegerator by a few degrees and it certainly brings out more in the beer. I could get used to this.
