Hmm that's proper not good if i said 25-30 units a day 0.0 I have issues or just like my beer :D

I am drinking more than recommended UK guidelines, I need to stay under 50 a week for a medium risk according to WHO. My overall average since 2001 is 37.6 a week. So I can't complain at almost 20 years of enjoyment. Of course we're all built differently. your mileage may vary. most units in a day 24.

Dry January has just turned into little bit of seepage January. I just had one of my wheat beers. I thought myihhh, it's ok. Then about 10 seconds after I got this really nice biscuit taste. I had a check and I put in 5% biscuit malt. Oooh, I'm liking this, I am.

Ok - I can see dry January turning into damp January but I'm avoiding flooded basement January, which has basically been my entire calendar for too long.

Even though it attenuated too far due to me being crap - 1.004, with the yeast in it's still so milky. You'd think it had a kilo of maltodextrin.

a dip is better than no dip at all athumb..

Hi Dad, the other week I went the docs with a minor problem during the conversation she asked how much do you drink I don't know what made me do it I told her the truth 4 glasses a day most days I am enjoying my retirement I said, well her being of the non drinking fraternity totally flipped and told me I should cut down I said why so I can live longer and finish up in some crappy home I am living my life how I want and if I go tomorrow so be it she said that's a bit selfish I said no its not its living life how you want to and being happy long story short she gave me antibiotics and as I was leaving she said you cant drink with those enjoy the next 7 days athumb..

Clone version of the kernel's imp brown stout, 9.3%. Turned out bloody lovely, again! The abv is so well hidden. Think I will have another. Cheers

That looks fruity Drunkular for sure. Enjoy.
Cheers, dude. I've had a few of the other plain wheats from the same batch and I thought these are fine and dandy, now after the blackberry they seem really dull. It's definitely a sensory see-saw thing. The plain wheat is "I'll have another." every time before this. It's like a seaoning has spiked ou, like salt on lamb chops.

Last night:
1. Fuller's London Porter - fantastic, highly recommended!
2. Last bottle of my own GH Brown Porter - not quite as good as the Fuller's but still very good, must rebrew soon!
3. Bath Ales Dark Side Stout - ok but a but nothing special, it didn't rock my world

Second taste of my 'Christmas' double IPA 9.25% while I listen to some records. First tasting hadn't carbed after two weeks and went down the drain.

Little Ox Imperial Toad a barrel aged stout while I cook dinner. It’s heavy slightly sweet and frankly delicious sadly at 9.8% I think I will move onto something lighter for the rest of the evening

Another strong dark Belgian. Not as good as the Kerst Pater but not half bad. If I had to pick only one style to drink for the rest of my life this would be it acheers.

Still on my house pale by John finch. I’m liking this actually, I though it was destined for the drain at the beginning but it’s turned out very nice indeed :beer1:

I've had a Lansdowne IPA at the pub and some cherry beer that I can't remember the name of and a pint of my 2nd Amarillo Smash which at 3.9% is a little weak and watery for me.

Just had a bottle of a knock up brew I did only bottled a week ago thought I would try one, I am rubbish at describing ale but if I got this in a pub I would be really happy its like drinking a rolls Royce I know it was hopped with challenger and some tettnanger I had left and brewed with hog norst, think I am going to have another :beer1:
