Well I’ve had a brilliant day with my wife, my girls, my grandchildren - and their dogs. Loads of beer and a mountain of food, great weather, great company, good music, many giggles. What’s not to love. Chilling now they’ve gone home and I’m drinking a Pirate Pale right now (this one’s for you @Moe )

First: A week-old opened Found lager from the 'fridge.
A mistake obs. Not bad, but boy does it need the freshly opened carbonation.
Then a proper beer, my Darkish Hoppy Bitter.
Simcoe, Cascade and EKG Tasty.
Then Carrefour bought Cassoulet and 'Bob' Madiran, a 2016 and all the better for it. This wine really pays back ageing.

No one’s judging. I bought a bottle of wild turkey and it’s quite nice 😊
A southern states favourite according to Ray Wylie Hubbard...

"Sure does like his Falstaff beer
He likes to chase it down with that Wild Turkey liquor
He drives a fifty-seven GMC pickup truck
Got a gun rack, "Goat ropers needs love, too" sticker

And it's up against the wall Redneck Mother
Mother, who has raised her son so well
He's thirty-four and drinking in a honky tonk
Just kicking hippies asses and raising hell"

I got the ingredients and hops to make the Pacific Ale. I might have to add some flaked wheat to get it a little hazy. I thought my Bass clone was thin, this is thin, a good summer drink but.

Compared to the Pacific Ale this Bass clone
now seems to have 'body' very enjoyable drinks while listening to the footy. Especially when my team is up 49 to 13 at halftime, and the opposition is top of the ladder! Go the Scraggers.
