Heading off to a display with our local Methodist Minister and her family, our daughters are best friends, then back to theirs for supper.

Thankfully they aren't the tea total kind of Methodists, in fact her husband is a real ale fan so I shall take along a couple of bottles of my AG#2 brown ale even though its still a little young.

I'll be at work....listening to all those folks complaining of loud bangs, ( I think they could be gunshots !! )....folks watch fat too much tv these days.

guess what I've had for lunch ?......................bloody pumpkin soup...again. We've got buckets of it to get rid of ! That's the downside of getting a giant pumpkin to carve ... :(

We will be going o a local display weather permitting on the sat evening I'm working on the Sunday suppose the poor dog will be foaming at the mouth all night

Going out for a meal at a pub with no bonfire. As everyone else will be at others :D

Going to friends on Saturday night. Kids and I have already made Parkin, peanut flapjacks, toffee, have no home few so a few bottles of goose island will be following. Kids and women will stay inside, while the men play with fire and get pissed. If its wet the fishing umbrellas will come out and we will do the same. CANT WAIT.

Most people here go to the display put on by the church (they make a bit of serving refreshments) or watch it from the comfort of their living rooms.
...and after that, we all get to look up the hills at the two places where the richer members of the community let off a lot fo stuff.

fireworks in the garden with loads of friends round. BBQ will be on for sausages, pumpkin soup and chicken curry!
Oh, and also a king keg of Bridestone oatmeal stout!!!! :thumb:
