Well my corks didn't arrive from brewuk until today, but unfortunately I had them delivered to work, so the WOW bottling will have to wait until mid-week. Tomorrow's going to be a busy day with a 5 gall brew day (SNPA clone now, changed my mind from Hopping Hare), and 5 gallons of Merlot to rack off.

Quite how some of you guys get a double brew day in I've no idea!

IPA racked and hopped and 5 gallons of mild in the FV.

Brewing ops done, drinking ops start here! :drink:

Today I've brewed 5gal of a Belgian strong ale and 5gal of a hefeweisen. Tomorrow I am planning 5 gal of a golden ale before I go to work for the week.

Can anyone tell that I'm running out of beer.
we seem to share the same love of beer styles :thumb:

Morning!!!

So after staying up late (with a few beers) to watch the lighting (fine display of British magnanimosity) of the cauldron (beautiful) of the Olympics (at least I'll always know what's on the telly for the next two weeks), it's now time for another crazy busy brewing weekend!

1) Bottle 5 gallons IPA
2) Bottle 5 gallons Mild
3) Brew this mental Russian Imperial Stout thing...

Anyone else with Olympic-scale brewing plans this weekend?

Not on the beer front, but I do need to bottle 5 g rose wine, rack 5 g white into long term storage, rack and stabilise 5 g white and finally get another 5 g batch going. Not sure I will do it all today. It was a bit of a late night last night watching the ceremony. But unless I get it done we might run out of wine and that would never do.

Good to see so many brewers hard at work :) if it wasn't for those bloody pesky day jobs we could be doing this all the time!

I'm doing AG#2 today

I've just bottled 5 gall of Coopers Stout, and run short of bottles for 5 galls of English Bitter... so in passing I said to my son I could do with a few bottles emptying this weekend... :(

Do you ever wish you could bite your own tongue off !

10 gals bottled, in exactly the time it takes to slow smoke a couple of nice lumps of pork belly.

Four and a half hours of bottling is easy with hickory smoke and cooking pork in your nostrils!!!

Happy, happy day...
