Yeah. I think they have a problem with seawater contamination. Because there is nothing near any coast

Give me a rough idea where you are and I'll zoom out in that area.Zoom it out a bit!
Saltwater contamination is obviously not a problem.So.. not it Scotland, not much in Wales or the home counties.

They don't recommend a shelf life I usually use mine within a month for all grain which does give it a good boil.Not an issue, I was interested as it comes up in posts a lot and thought I might have a go.
Will have to grab some on my travels.

Have you tried making tea with it?
I long thought there is a correlation between what black tea and beer.
Next brew day will be a best bitter.
