Im thinking of making a special lager/ale/beer in time for the new year, I will be off work right through new year for the first time in 4 years :drunk: .
Any tips on using honey instead of sugar , i have a coopers australian lager lying about i could use.
Im thinking 800g of honey and 250g of sugar .

im looking at doing something like that too i have some kits i got for a bargin price they aint the best but im interested in improving them with honey and other things

honey is about 80% sugars a rough guide

so if you want 800 grams of sugar
you will need a kilo of honey

you should check the actual sugar content of your honey
to get the exact ratio :thumb:
