I've just made a surprisingly successful first batch of candi sugar for a Brewferm kit this weekend, but now I'm stuck.

How do I use it? Do I boil it back down in water, like normal sugar?

Have you got any pics of it because I usually buy it from the LHBS, it looks like a bag of uncut diamonds which i normally dissolve in hot water before adding to my FV. :hat:

Ah you're into technology above my ken there! :-)

Yeah, it's basically sharp shards and nuggets of sugar. Rock solid.

So you think just remelt in water again?

When i use it I place it in a pan of boiling water and let it dissolve, it is not that easy to get it to dissolve though

Which Brewferm kit are you doing? because in the notes at the end of the instructions it tells you to use an extra 5% if using Candi sugar on the kits I have done.

Syrup sounds good, but I've made some now.

I'm doing two. Diablo and Adbij. Doubling up both.
