Using a dishwasher to sterilise you bottles ??

on consideration i'm not sure the dishwasher is the best thing for bottles as the necks are so narrow - so i'm going to put them in the dishwasher first and then dip the bottles in a steriliser bucket and then give them a quick rinse with cold water straight from the tap

might as well be on the safe side after waiting so long??

Santa brought me a 45-branched bottle tree together with a Videne squirter which sits on top of it.

This is my method. First time I got my bottles they had lived in a farmhouse outbuilding for a lot of years so I used the dishwasher to get the intial crud off but even that struggled with some contaminant.

One thing that I am anal about is rinsing every bottle after I have poured it. This with the bottle tree and starsan squirter makes life really simple come bottling time.
