Just went to check on my brews and discovered this.

Both are the same beer and had the same amount of priming sugar.

Don't know what happened but looks like one had a little to much pressure build up.

I had to let the pressue off as it was making rather scary noises, just turned the valve enough to let the pressure off slowly.

This did this for a couple of min then shot me in the face with some rather tasty beer.

Valve off again and I'll check again tomorrow.

I think i will need to drink that one soon, oh well ;)

Not had any issues with them before, not unless i lost count with the priming sugar and added to much.

Must have uless i have missed a dent in the keg that has buckled.

Was this one you've used before? I've been using and re-using for well over a year now without any issues, but I have read that they can go out of shape if too much pressure builds up. That's the first time I've seen a pic though so thanks!

As far as not being up to the job if that's the case why do so many commercial breweries use them to sell their beer? You'd think they'd know what they were doing.

One would think that they'er both constructed to the same tolerances.

It could be that your pushing them to the max and you got a little off on head space and priming sugar.

Now that it's all messed up refill it and see just how much pressure it can take. Just do it outside.

looks like primed with too much sugar, the other one has started to do the same, oops my bad.

Oh well lesson learned.
