My batch size says gal, how do I change it to litres?

Worked it out, changed my batch to litres now and its come out at 1.047

Did the same to my last brew, nailed the og at 1.030!!!!!!!

In a way, quite pleased that I hit everything but godd!!!!

p.s i just noticed i had set my beersmith recipe of 5kg at 1048 the eff is set at 70% not 72% so try it at 70%.

Ok I had some efficiency problems when I started but now I regularly hit 85% in fact that's the efficiency I put into brewmate.

Don't doubt it works, but I'm a bit surprised by that! BrewMate works on brewhouse efficiency - I get 85% mash efficiency and about 75% brewhouse efficiency.

I'm surprised myself but that's what it does and I've done things like consistently nail og and volume for my old speckled hen clone for the last three brews.

:thumb: agreed, once I'd collected data from 4 or 5 brews, BrewMate became really good at predicting gravity and volumes. I use the BIAB method, so when you start with all the water for your brew it's great to having a program to reliably tell you what this should be.
