I use the hop rocket in two ways, on the hot side of the recirculate the 80C wort through it, then put it on the cold side of the CFC to filter the wort as it's transferred into the fermenter.
Very handy for atypical additions such as elderflower. Easier than taking the lid off the boiler with the condenser on and refitting and stops the immediate pump blockage that occurred when I lobbed the elderflower in freestyle.

Have you thought about a hop rocket/ missile or hop back ?
I find that I get extra flavour and aroma from the hops without any hops left in the kettle plus the fact it does filter the wort to some extent as well.
Just a thought
This note is from the Kegland site:

Please Note:
When using pellet hops, or if you have a large amount of trub and debris it may compact and impede the flow of the Hop Missile. To help prevent this, installing a pre-filter in your pot is recommended to prevent excessive quantities of material from entering the hopback. We also highly recommend using rice hulls in combination with hop pellets to aid in wort passing through the Hop Missile.

TMM HopRocket, spec: capicity is 85g (3oz) for whole hops only (or 113g with extra insert).
So it wouldn't cope with the hop amount in some recipes, even if the hops needed were available whole.

@peterpiper you make a very valid point however I have used mine regularly with 100g + hops (pellets) and it works fine.
In fact I recently brewed a Tribute clone kit from TMM and used 150g of whole leaf in the whirlpool without incident.
I suppose if you were using 200 grams and were worried you could split them and do it in several charges. I’m not saying that it is perfect but it is just another option to consider.

I'd love to be able to put my wort through the hop rocket every time with a few whole cones in.
They are rarely available here in NZ....
Unless buying pellets, choice here (Scotland) is quite limited.
A few varieties are usually available as whole hops. But for the others I like, I'll often buy in advance, if I notice they're available.

That's usefull to know, as I've never tried a HopRocket.
Whole leaf seems much easier to use.
I've never reached 200g (yet).
