Hi all - I did a quick search but didn't find anything so I'll ask the question...
I've been Googling for recipes for blackcurrant wine. Usually I'd use about 4lbs (2kg) of fruit in a gallon of something like blackberry or elderberry wine, topped up with about 0.75l of apple or red grape juice. The recipes I've found for blackcurrant wine call for 3lbs of fruit and 3lbs of sugar, some recipes say less, which seems like it might not be enough fruit. And it's only topped up with water. Has anyone here made blackcurrant wine before and can they verify that it needs so little fruit?
Thanks in advance.
