Hello,

I was just wondering if its alright to travelling with conditioning beer or this will have any negative effects on the beer?

Thanks!

Aslong as you are careful with it and allow it to settle. After all beer in pubs are transported to Pubs

Bottles in cars are fine. Just make sure they are upright in a crate or carrier and the sediment will stay put.

Can't say for minikegs as the volume is so much bigger that it might be easier to create the flows necessary to dislodge it.

If you have time to let them settle, do. :thumb:

You should be fine as long as you let them settle before opening, other wise you will have gushing bottles when opened.

I took 4 bottles to the Doncaster Homebrew meet last night, approx 30 miles from mine.

On opening these an hour & half later, two exploded and two were fine!
I would leave these 24 hours if possible.
