I made the foolish mistake of chatting to the CEO about brewing and he got quite interested...
...we hatched a plan, for once I have a couple of AG brews under my belt, to produce a beer for a social in the spring time or early summer.
We are a small company with a global presence with our head office in the UK and regional offices in Australia and the US...
So I think I really have to brew a zingy pale being, I think, the style that is most accessible for those who aren't big ale fans, and also a style commonplace in all three countries.
And then I want to tripple hop it, obviously with hops from the UK, Australia and the US...
The reading I've done so far suggests that Galaxy is a lovely fruity thing with passionfruit and citrus, the American C's are also great for fruitiness...
I was thinking maybe an american C for aroma hops, Galaxy to dry hop and something british to provide the backbone bittering.
Does that sound like it'll work? It'll likely be a bit of a hop bomb but that's part of the plan, I need to go for a really contemporary style so as to appeal to everyone.
For the grain bill do I just run with that from something in Wheeler or Olloson?
Anyway, this will likely be BIAB #3 ish in a couple of months' time, I might even do a one-gallon mini-BIAB to test it...
...what do you reckon, is this going to be simple enough for a noob?
