Hi guys,
Just kegged my first ever brew but I've misread the instructions about priming sugar in the keg, I bottled half of my beer and put the other half in the keg, putting a teaspoon of sugar in each bottle but I read that I should put 80g of sugar in a full keg so half in half a keg, thinking I'd read 800 g for a keg so I put 400 g of sugar in my keg, should I be worried?

A cornie keg or some other type? That's a LOT of extra sugar. If you can periodically vent the keg, that would be good. It will definitely add more alcohol and it may thin the body of the beer out a bit too.

Wow, 400g for half a batch - good effort, we're all on a learning curve.

I'm quite interested to hear the results, can you let us know how it turns out ;) You could leave it a month or two and take a reading from the keg and one from a bottle :drink:

I'll keep you posted on how it turns out, can't believe I made such an error !!!
It's in a Wilko keg that I bought in their 50% sale, it's gone rock solid already
