To secondary or not to secondary, that is the question?

I am not too paranoid about infections, I (because of my profession) understand about avoiding them, I have actually avoided any infected beer, wine or cider in 25 years of faffing around. However once the big gas rush on a beer is over and when I am not using a fully sealed FV, I simply like to rack to a closed vessel. It costs nothing and gives me peace of mind.

Do whatever you want, make beer however suits you, avoid wasting beer by infections (or leaks) and whatever you are doing is right for you.
