I have just started brewing again after many many years. I am using a kit just to feel my way in. The recipe doesnt mention finings! Would it be ok to stick some in after fermentation the stops??

Hi I'm no expert but what I do is when I test the FG if it looks too cloudy I add a fining as I say I'm no expert good luck
cheers Steve

The recipes won't mention finings as its all down to personal choice.

Use whichever finings you want prior to kegging without any worries. If you are bottling then I wouldn't bother as the beer will drop clear without needing any help and you will want the yeast in suspension to do the conditioning.
