Hi I was wondering if anyone has tips on cleaning things like the siphoning tube as I can seem to get it cleaned propely and as it drys it gets dirty inside any tip appeciated

Wash it straight away. Soak anything too dirty in oxy clean( the laundry stain remover stuff). You can get it from wilkco or Lidl. Just try to get unperfumed and rinse well

If its got **** in it get some strong cleaner you may use vpn or something soak it in it and you can pump the stuff through it and leave it. Make sure whatever you do rinse it though

But Chris is right, cleaning it straight off is the way to go rather than try to fix a soiled one.

Just clean mine straight away, hang it up somewhere to dry,never had any c##p forming inside a syphon tube

Clean after use with some sanitiser and a I tend to spin it round a few times to persuade any fluid out and dry a little before storing.

Same, I just clean them off in hot water after use and leave to dry. Spray / draw so StarSan through them immediately before their next use.

VWP is very good, or you could rinse with thin unperfumed bleach from Tesco or something, but as others have said don't let it dry dirty, clean when still wet.

Spin mine too, like a mad cowboy. Drips of water on the mirror, windows and cabinet. Worry a bit about the tube releasing the siphon and smashing the wife's head.

If you're rinsing it thoroughly but seems 'dirty' after it dries, I'd suspect heavy chalk deposits in you water.

Clean straight away anyway that suits you. Then most important, in my opinion, is to hang it up vertically and let all the remaining liquid drip out of it as it dries. I've not had a length of tubing go bad for some years now since adopting this approach.

I've actually tried attaching a hairdryer after cleaning and on shorts hoses have had positive results switched on high heat using a funnel.

Curl it up and shove in microwave! Put a teevee dinner in while you're at it and save electric!
