I have seen them for £130 posted but still too expensive. I neither really need or want one but if they are on sale at a good price I might be tempted.

Good price being close to £100

I suggest you set up a search on eBay with a price limit and set to UK only to avoid all the USA sellers. They offer it at about £100 but you will pay £30 or more in tax and import dues. You might bag one with a damaged box or nearly new. I was lucky to snag one from Beer Hawk for £99.99 in March when they ran a promotion. Good luck. £130 seems to be the best price.

You can get a built up iSpindel from a seller on home brew talk.com. It’s version 4 and seems to be much more accurate and less glitchy than the tilt. Could be due to its physical size.

Calibrating is still a faff but it’s not difficult.

Roughly how much is an ispindel in the UK either pre assembled or as a diy build? I did have a look at the mentioned website but didn't want to plough through 180 odd pages.

Ispindel or tilt is not something I really need but a nice to have gadget if it were cheap enough.
