Just thought i would share my moment of insperation with you all
I am coming to the end of my first ferment very soon ,so got to thinking about the bottling process, now i'm a bit tight really, and could do with a something to drain me bottles after sanitising ,but dow want to pay 24-30 quidish for some bit of plastc. SWMBO wont let me use the kitchen to bottle so have to do it all upstairs. Anyhow i got me fridge in the spare bedroom with the fermenting bin doing it's stuff and am going to clean and sanitise me bottles in the bath, and then bottle in the spare bedroom, so i come up with this to let me bottles Drip Dry .I dont mind being ridiculed and aving the piss took as i ain't the best with the old carpentry skills so feel free

Just to be awkward make sure you do your bottling on her bath night..then you'll be king of the kitchen.

I sanitise in the bath too. If your bottle jig works then it's not stupid, good idea!

I bought one of those pretty plastic offerings but you clearly win on value for money and ingenuity.

Like yourself I've been banished to the bathroom & spare room too :-(

HI DIDGE Well its nice to know i aint on me own, being banished suppose it would be interesting to find out how many of us have been banished by SWMBO
