Sorry to hear that HWM :( hope you have a speedy recovery :thumb:

Missed that

Toward the end of the boil:
(Using a pump)
Recirc v hot water through the wort side
Recirc videne soln through the wort side
Recirc water through the wort side
Connect cold water in to cold water feed, connect cold water out to my water escape pipes
Connect boiler out to pump in and pump out goes back to boiler.
At the end of the boil allow 10 - 15 mins for hops to settle
Recirc hot wort back to boiler until it appears to be running clear (no debris)
Connect pump out to therminator (wort) in and start cold water flow
Pump hot wort in and recirc cold wort back to boiler (whilst not disturbing the hop bed) *adjust flows to get the temp out that you want
When you are happy that the cold break is going back to boiler move therminator out to FV's

I can expand on this as it's just a "brain dump" at the mo (short on time)

The above has worked quite well but i've only used it twice so it probably wont be the final routine, also I managed to carry over more cold break to FV's that I would have liked on my last brew.

Thats sort of What I do using my PHE, recirc the hot wort back to the boiler for 10 minutes bypassing the PHE . . . this has the advantage of clearing the wort without using the PHE as a hop filter . . . and probably contributes to the PHE not collecting loads of gunk and being a PITA to clean again.

Of course using the hop stopper means that very little debris gets through any way . . . so far

And I back flush using my RG550 at full bore . . . then fill both sides of the PHE with boiling water before putting it into the pressure cooker and pressure cooking it for 20 minutes. . . when the pressure has dropped a couple of blanking plugs seal it and keep it sterile ready for the next time.
