Nope. My quote is an accurate record of what you wrote. I understood what you said, i.e. that hamburgers were NOT made from ham but originated from Hamburg, but I couldn’t quote that from your post because you didn’t use those words. Sorry for any distress my post may have caused you, or anybody else for that matter. You've misquoted my post I said

The Aussies have weird stuff in kfc, like potatoes and gravyYour KFC Buckets must be massive
where’s the random slice of beetroot you lot like to slip into a burger(which neatly gets the thread back on topic too)Our Croc Burgers are called Croc Burgers because they are made from crocodiles.

It’s an Aussie thing, I’ve never got a rational explanation either.I can honestly say i have never heard of any fast food outlet putting beetroot in a burger in the U.K.

Beef burgers were invented because people thought Hamburgers were made from ham rather than originating in Hamburg and made from beef. Just like people thought Brains ******* were made from brains. They were renamed to Mr Brains *******. So a veggie burger would be OK as would a fish burger.Buffers brewery said:
I remember in the “old days” we used to have hamburgers and beef burgers so veggie burgers would seem to fit. There was pork sausages as well as beef sausages and we now have turkey sausages as well, so veggie sausages seems to be appropriate as well.
